چکیده

Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is widely used to treat hematological malignancies and nonmalignant disorders. Many advances have been made in improving the success of bone marrow transplantation. However, lack available matched related or sibling donors has posed a significant challenges availability proper utilization hematopoietic patients with malignancies. The rising alternative donors, particularly haploidentical (HIDs), propelled rapid rise allo-HSCT. aim this review highlight evaluate recent development HSCT, focusing mainly on selection suitable HID-HSCT some current use umbilical cord blood cells as an graft source. Haplo-HSCT shown promising result better outcomes due number advantages, including wide range sources, increased GVL effects, improved immunologic reconstitution, positive clinical outcomes. In near future, haplo-HSCT likely be considered option for patient donor AML while HLA matching unlikely most important factor selection. addition, role source HSCT even other sources such peripheral blood. Other procedures, T-cell depletion allografts, Post-transplant cyclophosphamide (PTCY), G-CSF-mobilized antithymocyte globulin, contributed improvements decades.
